Formed is the outgrowth of several friends working together to flesh out a new ‘curriculum for Christlikeness.’ Our Prayerbook (available as PDFs on the Pray With Us link) creates and fosters an intentional rhythm in our lives, as together we seek God through our shared vows of soul-keeping, simplicity, purity, service, prayer, work, study, community, justice, hospitality, Sabbath, and celebration.

In our communities we follow a ‘rule of life’ inspired by the monastic tradition, with a daily balance of work and prayer, community and study. The vows of our shared life root us as we seek to live missionally, serving our neighbors near and far.

Above all, this journey is an undertaking of spiritual formation within community for the sake of the world. By journeying alongside others (wherever they are) in following the rhythm of the disciplines–you will join a collective mission, rather than an individual venture.
